PX This presents THE F&F REVIEW

Hey, sorry we couldn’t make it to "Friends&Family," we were out of town/ had to work/ not invited. We’re really glad we finally managed to come by, though— it’s so nice to see you!
What’s that? You would still like us to take the time to fill out the F&F survey, because you’d love to take advantage of all our vast experience, knowledge, insight, and expertise as long as we’re already here? Because you invited 75 people to F&F, and afterward all you got was 41 "Congrats[es]!" 22 "Awesome[s]!" 3 "Ciao[s]!" and 9 "Best of luck[s]!" ?
Of course, we’d be honored. Oh ha, yesss, we’ll be honest— brutally honest even, ha ha! After all, that’s what friends & family are for!
No no please, don’t send anything more, we’re stuffed, we can’t breathe, you’ll have to roll us out of here, ha ha ha… !

Super Linda

What was your first impression?
Cute. Bigger than I’d imagined, but otherwise pretty much what I expected. Totally Serge-ish.

Please rate the Bar:
It’s nice but small. Small as hopefully your ass is, cuz otherwise you’ll never fit atop that stool, I’ll tell you that much.
The bartenders are good. But they kinda look like two trapped hamsters in that little space.

Please rate the drinks/ cocktails/ wine:
Went straight for the vino; the list is entirely Latin/Spanish if I recall correctly, and it’s decent. Tribeca price-point.
There were lots of fancy fresh ingredients and whatnot lined up in the gutter and the bartenders seemed proficient, so you can probably hazard a safe assumption at all the rest of it.

Please rate the Dining Room:
Looks good. Utilitarian chic.

Please rate the BOH:
Very good. Probably better than you’d expect.

How was the staff?
Oh come on now already. How do you think.

What did you eat?/ How was the food?
Ceviche verde : Good! Super fresh and clean. Maybe coulda used a wee touch of salt, but very good.
Chicken croquettes : Delicious. Crisp yet gooey but not greasy. The salsa they can keep, though. Spicy and tasty, but a weird fit for the creamy almost buttery croquette.
Shrimp balls : Okay. Better to smash the balls and then smear that sauce all around. Then they’re scrumptious.
Pork ribs : Good. But uhh "eighteen hours" my ass. I don’t buy it, sorry. Has that hammy taste even. But they’re fine.

What did you like?
It’s new. And fabulous.

What did you dislike?
It’s far. Aaand
not sure exactly. Weird feng shui?

What was your last impression?
Serge Becker said we were invited to Friends & Family but then we never did get an e-mail so I wonder if we just got bumped off the list or something. And then I thought it was like, later, but then I found out from Nick Rytting that it was actually a few days earlier than I’d presumed. Evidently he was sitting with Carlos Mota, Matthew Modine, Nadine Johnson, and some other dude, so the guest list must have been super hott.
Nick said his fish was undercooked, and Matthew Modine (and the other dude) got impatient from waiting so long so they bounced without ever getting fed.
Also, the paper lamps are pretty. I like them; my pal not so much.

Would you come back?
Wouldn’t you?

Thank you, and hope to see you soon!
No no thank you!

Ok, so funny you should mention Super Linda and the invite. But did anyone catch Abramcyk’s lawyer who allllll his funny llc’s and for smith, tiny’s, super linda, 77 warren, maritime, 287 broadway, 120 W broadway, 71 N Moore, 385 Greenwich, 130 w broadway, 135 W broadway, oh and some pizza cafe at 287 broadway and oh a maybe a few dozen buildings, “businesses”, and llc’s and alllll their records were just carted off by the corruption unit in a raid on David Jarolsawicz’s office for a little “laundering” via real estate holdings and funny llc’s in the Madam scandal?

    Whats is up with this?
