Answer:
A pedicure.
The one thing that succinctly marks knowledgeable “yacht people” is the removal of shoes immediately upon boarding (if not before). Shoes worn by the crew never touch the street. If you remove your shoes without being asked, it is never a faux pas and will instantly distinguish you as an experienced yacht traveler. Yachts will generally have shoe bags and/or a specific area where shoes are left or stored for the duration of your visit.
