PX This presents THE F&F REVIEW
Hey, sorry we couldn’t make it to "Friends & Family," we were out of town/ had to work/ not invited. We’re really glad we finally managed to come by, though— it’s so nice to see you!
What’s that? You would still like us to take the time to fill out the F&F survey, because you’d love to take advantage of all our vast experience, knowledge, insight, and expertise as long as we’re already here? Because you invited 75 people to F&F, and afterward all you got was 41 "Congrats[es]!" 22 "Awesome[s]!" 3 "Ciao[s]!" and 9 "Best of luck[s]!" ?
Of course, we’d be honored. Oh ha, yesss, we’ll be honest— brutally honest even, ha ha! After all, that’s what friends & family are for! No no please, don’t send anything more, we’re stuffed, we can’t breathe, you’ll have to roll us out of here, ha ha ha… !
What was your first impression?
It reminds me of Soto.
Please rate the Bar:
N/A, unless you mean the sushi bar.
Please rate the drinks/ cocktails/ wine:
Three kinds of red wne, three kinds of white wine, was there champagne? I don’t remember. Three kinds of sake in glasses/carafes, three kinds of sake in 300ml bottles, and three kinds of sake in 750l bottles. The running theme seems to be Inexpensive, Moderate, and Expensive.
Oh wait, did I see a small cocktail list? If so, they must be soju and/or sake cocktails. God, I suck at this.
Please rate the Dining Room:
Kinda N/A? Unless you include the sushi bar. I think they have like, three tables.
Please rate the BOH:
How was the staff?
They’re fine. Friendly. Proficient. Not the most effusive bunch, but who cares? Just eat.
What did you eat?/ How was the food?
Edamame : It’s fine. Typical.
Scallop and uni : Wow.
Dungeness crab : Very clean flavors. Very good.
Mushroom and spicy potato : Definitely not what you’re expecting. Delicious.
Spanish mackerel : Outstanding.
Spicy salmon on crispy rice : Tasty. Great presentation.
Salmon canape roll : Delicious. The shiso leaf is bangin.
Kanpachi and spicy potato roll : Haa, cute. Very Masa.
Duck and foie gras : Holy cow. My favorite. Order two. I did.
What did you like?
What did you dislike?
Well, ya know, the decor is eh. But I can live without the snazzy.
What was your last impression?
Bestest dinner I’ve had in long time.
Would you come back?
Day after tomorrow? Party of four, please.
Thank you, and hope to see you soon!
Hah! Get me a change of address card cuz I am moving in.
