"… I later purchased an Apple computer, and it was with that machine and others that I used to create everything I’ve done since then. Yes, they were more expensive, but greatness has a cost. If it weren’t for the innovations of Steve Jobs, much of the last 16 years for me may never have happened in the way they did. I honor and respect a legend, someone who will go down in history as one of the greatest inventors the world has ever known. Like every technology executive, Steve Jobs inspired me to lead, but to also be firm with your beliefs. What I will miss the most are those stories of a decision maker whose instinct shaped the world we know today." – my friend (and inspiration), Tony Zeoli, founder: netmix.com

OMG, did you feel that?! The earth moved, the walls trembled, the chandeliers swayed… it was an earthquake! Here, in New York City! Wow.
We mean, on the one hand, it’s a little scary. On the other, it’s a relief, because we thought maybe we were going crazy— we looked out the window, and nobody out on the street even seemed to notice a thing. And on the third hand (just roll with it), we thought maybe watching this first episode of Brosephs was JUST. THAT. GOOD. It rocked our world, literally!
Har har aharr. Ready for even more laughs?
Then watch it.
:)
Hilarious, wasn’t it? It was co-written by awesomely talented F&B superstar, Kevin Coyle. Does he, uhh— look familiar, by any chance? (Aside from his numerous big television commercials and whatnot, we mean.) Well, soon you’ll be seeing even more of him, so stay tuned. Yay!

Thank You, CBS!
Evidently, PX This recently appeared on CBS’s The Insider— but unfortunately not in NYC, since apparently it’s been canceled here? Aww, boo.
Oh well! For a closer look at the segment and a bit of a peek behind-the-scenes, you know where to look…
Yay!
You must see Sleep No More. Don’t think about it, don’t make excuses, don’t hesitate— just do as I did, and take a friendly suggestion from your discerning buddy with excellent taste who really knows what she’s talking about.
Oh but here’s a little tip: when they try to break your party up with the whole playing card rigmarole thingie at the very beginning— eh, don’t go for it, just pretend you don’t know each other. I mean yes it’s true, it’s supposed to be "an individual theatre experience," but knowing you die-hard urban impatient tech-obsessed Foursquare-addicted GPS-loving little buggers, you’d be so distracted trying to find your pal(s) all night, it’d likely ruin the whole experience for you anyway.
I can just imagine you right now surreptitiously texting each other from far-flung corners of the "hotel"— "Where ARE you? I’m on the 5th floor in the forest maze… near the graveyard… by the bright blue light, where are YOU? I’m in the sanitarium… near the children’s ward, meet me in the cradle room with the baby effigies dangling from the ceiling…" I mean come on now.
Afterward, take the same great advice I did, and have a good bottle of wine and pizza at Ovest across the way. I dare you to wear your mask through dinner— no, I’m kidding.
Okay, run along and buy your tickets now. You’re welcome!
:)
abbe diaz’s NEW BLOG
OK, seriously?! We’re going to try this again, one last time.
According to some emails, mobile texts, and Facebook messages, it would appear that several regular PX This visitors completely missed the memo. So here’s the revised edition:

Salon 403: Love is…
Congratulations to Lelaine Lau of Salon 403 for another wonderful and successful event last night, "Love is…"
Love is one of those things that is nearly impossible to quantify or describe, and difficult to define beyond "a strong affection for". And yet we know it when we see it or feel it, receive it or give it. It’s also an energy and a visceral feeling. It’s positive and uplifting and healthy. It encompasses so much more than just romance, and yet that is the first thing most people think of when they hear the word. So what is love to you?
Love Is is a celebration of love of all kinds as told through the stories of my presenters. Love Is is meant to be an expression of the various ways that love manifests. Love Is is a storytelling event and an interactive art project.
Please join me at the next 403, where presenters including chanteuse, French punk, and cult icon EDWIGE BELMORE, singer/songwriter DAVID RALEIGH, writer and cartoonist ANTHONY HADEN-GUEST, Super Sprowtz founder RADHA AGRAWAL, purveyor of love KATIA TALLARICO, lifestyle consultant WILSON MESA, model and muse PETEY WRIGHT, and other members of the 403 community will share what love is to them.
French painter, poet and conceptual artist JULIEN ISORE will also present his LOVE project – an experimental and interactive international art work and "advertising campaign" for LOVE. The aim of the campaign is to combine materiality and immateriality and transform humanity into a work of art. Julien’s work explores theoretical questions about metaphorical thought and the process of imaginary, and his campaign has captured the hearts of people all over the world from Lisbon, Paris, Shanghai, Brussels, Los Angeles, Geneva, Bogota, Stockholm and Bombay. This is his first LOVE campaign in New York City.
Love Is will feature the cuisine of CAMILLE BECERRA, a NYC-based chef and restaurateur known for incorporating the Latin spices of her heritage and her dedication to the farm-to-table movement. A top graduate of the Academy of Culinary Arts, she went on to open the popular Paloma in Greenpoint, which lasted 3 years before being shuttered by fire, and she competed in Season 3 of Top Chef. Most recently she held a series of wildly successful pop-up restaurants called The Hunger, which drew raves from the likes of Tom Colicchio and Todd English.
To see more photographs of this fantastic evening, you know where to go…
Okay so apparently, with all the renewed attention being paid to PX This – The Revised Edition—
what with The Daily News, and hamptons.com, and Perez Hilton, and dlisted, and foodchannel.com, and Australia’s The Morning Show, and the upcoming appearance on CBS’s The Insider and whatnot—
it seems some people have come to realize the The Revised Edition (unlike the original version of the book), aside from its snazzy new cover and funky slick square shape, actually has photographs inside as well.
And true, the two separate books pretty much do cost the same, so obviously that’s not a very good excuse for depriving the early purchaser’s of the original version (thank you!) of the lovely visual eye-candy afforded within The Revised Edition only. Fair enough!
So, if you’d like to take a gander at all the photos contained in PX This -The Revised Edition— you know where to look…
Thank you, Hamptons.com!
Damn, now that’s one of the bestest, intuitivest, most comprehensivest things about myself I’ve ever read. (Except maybe the title. But whatever!)
Thank you!
"Celebrities Stink (Mostly): Maître D To The Stars Names Names" – Hamptons.com
We’re sure the tantalizing trailer for "My Brother Nancy" wasn’t enough to satiate your immense appetite for the totally awesome fantastic-ness that is Michele Brilliant. Don’t worry! We got more. (And it also includes a healthy dose of supermodel Jenny Shimizu! Yay!)
Check it out. You know you want to.
You’re welcome!
:)
My Brother Nancy
To avid fans and supporters of La Esquina, Michele Brilliant needs no introduction. So, we won’t bother.
We’ll just let the trailer for "My Brother Nancy" (such boldfaced names as Russell Brand and Jennifer Esposito are rumored to be involved) do all the talking instead.
Yay! It’s finally here! It’s here, it’s here! Yay! Hooray!
Go, Heikki Sorsa!

This photograph is dedicated to our fan, “Blah.” I think I stole it off of someone’s Facebook page, but I can’t even say for sure, because I don’t remember.
Happy Thursday!

Happy Unoffiical Start of Summer! It is now time to [un]officially stop whining about the interminable cold and gloom and start bitching about the unbearable heat and humidity! Hooray!
Or— you can cool off for a minute with this (and umm, a RedBull®, I guess).
[Did we say "See you Tuesday"? We lied; we're still on vacation. See you tomorrow.]

As you’re probably well aware by now (or more likely, soon will be), occasionally PX This receives ‘fan letters’ and/or encouraging e-mails from people who love the book, inquiring as to why it hasn’t yet been made into "a movie" or "HBO series." Well, I’m right there with you, Mary!
I, Vanilla Ice, longtime PX This fanatic and current part-time PX This blogger / contributor, would also like to know when the hell everyone is going to get their shit together already. Hey, Brian Grazer, get your face out of that chicken pot pie, and let’s make this happen! (Stop worrying about Graybee Baby; he’ll get over it!)
Look, I’ve even taken the liberty of assembling the perfect, awesome, award-winning Hollywood trailer. That’s 90% of the work done, right? I know— I watch Entourage.
You’re welcome, dude!
yah so
by now, yalls have heard all about how poor eric-goode couldn’t get home from europe cuz the big stupid volcano in iceland wouldn’t let him. well, did you even stop to think about all the forlorn europeans and scandinavians and whatnot stranded here for the very same reason? no. no, of course you didn’t.
imagine, say— you were stranded at THOR for days and days on end with absolutely no knowledge of how long it would be before you’re able to return home. and so you went out one night and got drunk and passed out on a new friend’s living room sofa. and then somebody stole your pants, but you didn’t discover it until you awoke the next morning? and thus you had to walk through the strange, crowded, unfamiliar streets of NYC all the way back to THOR without your pants?
wouldn’t you looove if it were all captured on video so you could relive this awesome experience time and time and time again? sure you would— i thought so!
and so, without further ado, PX This presents: The New York Blues with Markus Keller and Marc Swoboda
or ya know— you can also check out professional "snow rider" Marc Swoboda (for Nitro®, Volcom®, Red Bull®, and Nike®) in action—
and/or former Olympian Markus Keller— with his pants.
nyeeah. take that, Page Six.
